This part is all about me!
Hello again. I’m Matthew Blewitt. I live in the North West and I spend my time designing really nice websites. I’m currently working freelance having just finished my degree in multimedia.
I love the internet and have a passion for design. For this reason I decided quite naturally to start creating webpages. I soon realised how interesting and challenging of a profession it could be.
Ever since my first site for a clothing brand I haven’t looked back. I've worked with a number of clients on a wide rage of businesses . Since entry into the world of Web Design I’ve also expanded into more creative areas such as Digital Illustration for advertising but also the more technical aspects of coding and development.

Experience
I’ve been working part time for 3 years with a number of clients during my studies. I’ve created a number of sites, logo designs, digital Illustrations, flyers, poster and promotional material that have all been successful in achieving their intended outcome.
I have recently finished my BA Hons in New Media & Music and will be looking for much more work. Why not have a look at some of my projects.

Web Design
Basically I design websites. Ones that work well and look great. I start by working with you to better understand what you need and want to achieve from the web site. I then design a web site template trying to match your expectation and business goals.
At this point there will be some amendments to the design based on what you think until we have it looking the best it can be. Once your happy with how everything looks the technical part comes in where I write all the code using the latest web languages to realise the design.
In this stage I am also considering usability to make users flow through your site the greatest of ease. Finally I launch the site rendering your page available to the world!
Digital Illustration
Aside from web sites I delve into the more artistic side of things as well.
I create professional Digital Illustrations to be used in a variety of ways including posters, online promotion, bill boards, websites etc. Like they say 'a picture is worth 1000 words'.
I make use of the Adobe Suite to create this work including Photoshop and Illustrator. I might sound geeky but I love those programs.
My style varies depending on your needs, from sleek corporate graphics to light hearted and humorous images, I can lend my hand to many different looks. If you would like a any Illustrated Graphics or are interested in seeing what I can do for you and your business why not get in touch.
Graphic Design
Out of the many elements of Graphic Design I specialise in Web Design. But I also have experience in other aspects of Graphics that naturally overlap. The website design process often begins with the creation of a logo and brand identity.
I begin by trying to understand the heart of your business or service and then discovering and planning the best way to present it to your customers. Once we agree on your market and how you want your company to be represented, I design a number of potential logos. We then choose the best and I then apply all the finishing touches to really make it something special.
The power of a logo should never be over looked and you business deserves to have all elements in place so nothing is holding it back.
Motion Graphics
Motion Graphics is my newest interest. I love creating designs and then turning my hand to animation and bringing them to life. The impact of a video when compared with still images is really incredible.
I have created a number of promotional videos integrated into my clients' web pages thats just further illustrates to the site visitors what they're about and how to get the best out of them.
With the shortening attention spans of the average internet user shortening by the minute nothing grabs their attention like a really striking motion graphics sequence.
